Bruegger's Bagels is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to join our Midwest Team.

The Director of Operations (DO) leads a Market team in the execution of the Company's strategic objectives. The DO is responsible for the execution of the business planning process, maintaining operational standards, identifying and cultivating top talent, optimizing the guest experience, maximizing sales and profitability, and building a culture of accountability and pride.

Essential Position Functions will include:

● Lead Operations team to maximize day-to-day operational excellence through adherence to brand standards and hands on leadership.
● Prepare and execute business plan that reflects agreed upon strategic plan and achieve Balanced Scorecard results.
● Participate in budget planning process; manage territory P & L.
● Monitor all aspects of the business utilizing available reporting methods and tools; utilize data to analyze the business, identify trends, strengths and opportunities, and coach direct reports.
● Promote a service culture; following up on all guest complaints and celebrating guest compliments with the team.
● Promote cross functional collaboration and effectiveness; facilitate communication of information throughout the organization.
● Participate in the development process for key initiatives; support RVP with the implementation and integration of Regional and Company initiatives/programs; partner cross-functionally for continuous improvement.
● Attract, select, train, develop and retain high performing team and maintain strong succession plan.
● Utilize and promote strategies and tactics to recognize, motivate and celebrate individual and team accomplishments to promote engagement and foster an environment of inclusion.
● Certify compliance with company polices and applicable regulatory and contractual obligations.
● Maintain strong industry network and local market knowledge.
● Promote events to strengthen community presence and involvement.
● Promote and manage strong vendor partner relationships.
● Complete administrative responsibilities and reporting.
