Job Description

Timarron Country Club (a ClubCorp property) is seeking an experienced and passionate Front of The House Manager (we call them Service Directors) to join our team and be part of the World Leader in Private Clubs®. Our Service Director is responsible for selecting, training, developing and managing 70+ Member-Service employees (we call them Employee Partners). This role works in tandem with our Executive Chef to provide an outstanding food and beverage experience for our Members and Guests in our grill, at the pool, on the golf course and during all special events!

ClubCorp owns or operates more than 200 golf and country clubs, business clubs, sports clubs and alumni clubs in 26 states, the District of Columbia and two foreign countries. It's a community of more than 430,000 Members supported by a team of approximately 20,000 peak-season Employee Partners trained to serve and create exceptional experiences that form lasting bonds. Key Responsibilities:

  • The ultimate team player that motivates and encourages our Employee Partners to deliver our Three Steps of Service at all times
  • Expediting all aspects of service and Member/Guest experience
  • Ensures all Employee Partners are service-ready in proper uniform, with the necessary tools and attitude to do their job
  • Lead all pre-shift meetings (Line-Up) delivering shift information, company initiatives and providing a “pep rally” speech to motivate the team
  • Work side by side with team during peak meal times to regulate the flow of the dining room, speed of service, communicate slow ticket times, and to address any opportunities with Members, Guest and Employee Partners
  • The “go to” service recovery resource for the Club addressing all poor experiences in a timely manner
  • Complete and communicate weekly schedules for all F.O.H. Employee Partners in a timely manner and per company labor standards
  • Ensure a safe, clean and organized work environment
  • Daily facility walk through to discover and report all facility/equipment needs to General Manager
  • Executes proper accounting and financial procedures per company policy
  • Demonstrates and holds Employee Partners accountable on all company policies

Job Requirements

  • Two years experience in Food & Beverage management.
  • Private dining experience preferred 
  • College degree preferred 

 

(Internal candidates should be Food & Beverage Service STAR certified)
