Job Duties Include:

Check all machines to make sure they are properly cleaned, lubricated, and operational for the shift.

Supervise by example a crew of 3-5 people. This will be accomplished by the supervisor working side-by-side with the crew to accomplish the assigned tasks in a determined time period.

Schedule deliveries working with vendors and carriers to accomplish an acceptable level of production from his crew.

Do all necessary paperwork to receive designated product in the Fulfillment Center in a timely manner.

Provide a secure dock area as well as a secure facility to protect the assets of the company.

Work as an example to other associates of the proper way to conduct business in the Fulfillment Center.

Handle any and all employee issues under the guidance of his/her manager and the Fulfillment Center manager.

Assist the manager in all training and safety issues in the Fulfillment Center.

Maintain a professional appearance and manner while in the Fulfillment Center.

Assist the Receiving Manager and the General Manager as needed.

Qualifications:

A minimum high school diploma although some college is preferred. In the absence of college the candidate should have a minimum of two years warehouse and/or distribution center experience.

A minimum two years experience in operating warehouse equipment such as a fork lift, clamp lift, tugger, and/or stock picker. Training experience would be preferred.

The ability to lift and/or move 75 pounds on a consistent basis for up to ten hours per day.

A stable employment history.

The ability to follow directions and plan the workday as required.

Salary is commensurate with ability and experience.
