Tahoe Sales Coordinator - 11 Month/Full Time - Heavenly 

 

Job Summary:

The Tahoe Sales Coordinator will provide support to the Tahoe Sales Organization and National Sales Orgainzation through coordination of groups, budget oversight and domestic and international wholesale support. The Coordinator acts as group leader’s main contact when in-resort and assists with all aspects of group services for national groups. Up-sell is a priority for all groups who need: group lift tickets, ski school, on-mountain F&B, and rentals.  Coordinator will assist with site visits, represent Tahoe Resorts at group receptions, and deliver lift tickets as needed.  Coordinator will also assist with regional trade shows.  Position is also to provide administrative support for the Tahoe sales department.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage departmental AP/AR through Financial Software System.
  • Provide support to Sales team at Heavenly, Kirkwood and Northstar for group meet and greets.
  • Manage Contract Compliance through internal systems.
  • Assist with wholesale sales effort (international and domestic)

 

Job Requirements:

  • 2-Year undergraduate degree in marketing, business, communications or related field preferred.
  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience in the following software is preferred but not required: Salesforce, RPOS, Peoplesoft.
  • Minimum one to two years travel industry, hospitality, meeting planning, convention/catering and/or event coordination experience desired. Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Valid US Drivers License and acceptable DMV record.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure while not sacrificing guest focus.
  • Intermediate or better skiing riding ability
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends
