CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR

We are actively looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to add to our Miami team. As an integral part of the project team, the Project coordinator is responsible for assisting with delivering construction & installation projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for processing, organizing and tracking all related project documentation, under the direction of the Project Manager.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all project administrative functions are processed in accordance to company procedures and client expectations", in addition to providing administrative support to the Field. The Project Coordinator is a member of the administrative team, which works together to provide high quality and timely support to the projects of the region.

The project coordinator will coordinate the execution of the installation services with installers and monitor purchase orders to meet delivery expectations and resolve customer service issues.

Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years project coordination or high level administrative experience in a Construction environment
  • MUST be bilingual in English & Portuguese
  • Strong written and verbal communications skill
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to learn various types of computer software
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Experience in working in a high level/fast paced corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry with the ability to understand project specific scopes of work and schedules.
  • Ability to schedule, track, and communicate multiple concurrent activities at multiple customer facilities
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision, able to prioritize and execute complex scheduling tasks in a multi-tasking, interrupt driven environment
  • Ability to interpret architectural/construction drawings, including general construction, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, communications/networking


Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Organizes the work to ensure utilization of employees and compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, safety requirements and budgetary guidelines
  • Makes decisions independently as required to address and resolve problems and to plan and coordinate work
  • Coordinate schedules for installers (10)
  • Contact clients, schedule & confirm installation appointments
  • Follow up with installations & ensure client’s satisfaction
  • Coordinate meetings and schedule site visits
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
  • Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained
  • Provide post-sales support
  • Order & coordinate replacement parts & pieces
  • Validates customer requested ship and delivery dates with install team members
  • Work closely with Sales partners and suppliers to ensure an order placement plan is in place to maintain a proper timeline for successful project execution.


Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm

Salary Range: $45-65K
