JOB SUMMARY:
In support of the Physician Services Group Urgent Care Service Line in San Antonio, the Market Manager reports directly to the Director of Market Operations and is responsible for providing training, resources, and support to the Area Managers, Center Managers, and clinical staff of the urgent care clinics in a market. This position will lead the development of a new Urgent Care infrastructure.
The Market Manager is responsible for the daily operations of all assigned clinics (6 to start), using all available resources to generate measurable returns to benefit the company, the community, the physician and most of all, the patient.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess at least five years practice/healthcare management experience. Experience in Urgent Care preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
The Market Manger must demonstrate expertise managing a diverse team, leading change, possess strong communication skills, and exhibit a focus on the patient experience. The Market Manager must be highly skilled in building relationships with providers and employees. Serves as a senior mentor to the clinical team and works to build organizational talent through talent assessment and leadership development.
