To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years related experience in account management, media and/or entertainment, sales, marketing or consulting experience preferred.
  • 4 year degree or higher required.
  • Ability to think creatively and independently, as well as collaboratively.

  • Ability to craft and deliver executive-level presentations.

DISH Smart Home Services is an entrepreneurial team within Dish Network whose focus is to evaluate and leverage the company’s asset base to select, develop, launch, and grow new products and services to our customers, both residential and business to business. An example of this is the leveraging of our in home technician force to offer new installation services to every address in the US!  Everything from TV installation and wireless networking to home automation and iPhone repair, this business offers an exciting career while expanding a newer division for the company.  These services are not only offered to our existing Dish video base, but also marketed direct to consumer, sold through retail, and fulfilled in B2B relationships.

 

As a Product Manager in our Smart Home Services group, you will be responsible for managing multiple sales and fulfillment channels for from onboarding to continued account management and expansion for a variety of our offerings.  Responsibilities include revenue and margin responsibility, marketing strategy development and execution; forecasting and budgeting related to channels; pricing and promotion strategy; negotiation support; and coordination with all other corporate functions as required supporting the channel. 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onboarding of new accounts including offerings, integration, marketing, training, and strategy.
  • P&L responsibility for revenue and other incremental offerings.
  • Partner with accounts to develop and execute strategy.
  • Build and execute creative marketing programs to generate increased buy rate.  Build strong revenue growth.
  • Identify innovative ways to leverage programming content and increase profitability
  • Foster and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and create strategic plans and present to senior management.
