Description

This position is responsible for promotions of the Auction by creating and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with auction leadership to develop promotions that service the needs of the location consignors and overall location goals. Ensuring promotions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Partners with and takes functional direction from corporate marketing on promotional ideas that support the broader market strategy.
  • Plans and executes promotional activities to dealers within the location including print, displays, and signage.
  • Maintains location website and ensures that an effective and approved social media presence is in place.
  • Coordinates development of onsite signage/ads and ensures effective auction/lane signage and décor are in place for the auction.
  • Develops and implements Key Account promotional design at location.
  • Implements market specific and location promotions.
  • Tracks giveaways and promotional item inventory.
  • Works in-lane promotions for commercial and dealer accounts.
  • Plan and coordinate customer and employee events.
  • Coordinate plaques and giveaways
  • Undertake Sale Day duties including the "IF" counter and promotional responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic arts, or advertising preferred.
  • 1-2 years marketing/promotions and customer service experience; previous industry exp. preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills required.
  • Strong computer skills include MS Office and layout/design software necessary.
  • Fundamental graphic arts knowledge essential.
  • Ability to work in high performance, fast paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to lift 1-30lbs.
  • Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as noise, dust and fumes in lanes.
