About this job
PCC Ceramics Group in Wickliffe has an immediate need for a Process / Dip Operator
- $12-12.25/hr
- All shifts available
Duties include:
Perform all Dip operations according to procedure, including testing of materials
- Run all thermal equipment, according to procedure Identify core defects
- Inspect kiln cars daily, and replace worn items as needed (plates, poles, rods and rod holders)
- Change tunnel temperatures to run different materials, and bank tunnel according to procedures
- Make, manage and organize setter blocks as needed
Requirements include:
- Must be able to stand entire shift
- Must follow and adhere to all safety policies and house keeping
- Ability to perform in a self directed environment with little supervision is essential
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret procedures
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Good attendance and dependability are a must
