Pay Rate: UP TO $14 per hour depending on experience

Position Overview
The Quality Inspector will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results. S/he will report to and work closely with QA/RA Manager. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace.The candidate must: analyze information, report results, document results and issues, support process improvement, be detail oriented
Scope of Responsibility
Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Inspect in-process production, subassemblies and finished goods by confirming against specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; executing test methods..
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; moving inventory in the ERP system; scanning and uploading completed inspection documentation.
Communicates deficiencies including equipment, product certificate and other issues
Maintains quarantine cage
Verbally communicate issues and expectations to manufacturing, shipping and other functional areas.
Analyzes and interprets technical drawings
Performs manufacturing inspections in accordance with established processes and defined intervals
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills
Ability to independently use a computer and enterprise software
Ability to view video display terminal images less than 18" away from face for extended period of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

High school diploma required
0 – 2 years’ experience in a quality control function in a manufacturing environment.
