JOB TITLE:
Server
REPORTS TO:
Store Manager and on occasion the Shift Manager in charge.
SUMMARY:
Serves food and beverages in the Dining Room with the highest quality of service.
PREPARATION:
Must have and maintain exceptional hospitality skills.
Obtain a working knowledge of menu items and pricing structures.
Memorize identifying table numbers in the Dining Room.
Understand and follow all operational procedures.
Organize your time spent on the job.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Must follow all server procedures.
Must be capable of working with other servers as a team.
Deliver hot food to the Dining Room in a timely manner. (Hot food takes priority)
Serve product only if it appears to be of the highest quality.
Fulfill a customer's request within reason.
Maintain adequate inventories of supplies at the Servers stations.
Remove dirty dishes and debris from vacated tables through pre-bussing.
Dining room cleanliness and set-up must be maintained at all times.
Attendance at work is required.
DERIVED FUNCTIONS:
Provide a constant supply of clean dishes and utensils.
Prepare and maintain all prep as necessary.
Maintain high standards of appearance and cleanliness in your work areas.
Sweep and mop up spills and place down wet floor signs when necessary.
Maintain clean and stocked restrooms.
Assist others if able.
Expect other job assignments.
