Logistics Recovery Associate

Pridestaff has an immediate opening for a Logistics Recovery Associate with a local commercial transportation dealership. If you are looking for a fast paced and challenging opportunity to grow a career in the transportation industry this may be the position for you

Responsibilities:

• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
• Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.
• Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.

• Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others.
• Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
• Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

Requirements

• 2-3 yrs of dispatch experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
