Quality Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Candidates will perform in-coming and in-process inspections of parts, materials and equipment according to Engineering specifications and drawings. Will also prepare inspection reports, affix acceptance tags/labels/stickers and repacks parts to ship.

Perform in-process inspections to determine adherence to standards, specs, drawings, and other QA procedures. Audit shipments to determine compliance to customer orders and/or contractual requirements. Supports manufacturing to achieve and continuously improve the quality of processes and products.

Follow up on customer complaints and occasionally assist with field repairs and rework which may require out of town travel and extended stay.

Use various inspection equipment and measuring instruments to check quality against engineering drawings, specs, and standards. maintains calibration database on computer.

Completes and maintains required paperwork, documents all tests, inspections or audits according to QA procedures. maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
