The Reservations Services Coordinator for the Global Sales Desk (GSD: International Wholesale) facilitates the daily operations of the Global Sales Desk by providing administrative assistance to the sales agents, lead and manager.  Creates financial, revenue and booking reports as needed from multiple systems.  Maintains quality control on all GSD reservations in multiple offices at time of booking and prior to arrival.  Assists in the creation of ancillary product reservations, including follow through on any and all special requests, changes, additions or exceptions.  Assists in the update of all products and pricing on our online library and in our back-end property management systems.  Assists in accounting functions of the department as necessary, including, payments, commissions, wire transfers, and other guest/wholesaler issues. Provides training to international wholesalers on Vail Resorts products and processes. Provide sales back-up in English required second language (Spanish, or Portuguese) as necessary to meet all department goals.

 

• Multi-tasking data-entry proficiency with multiple systems, both hardware and software, for Vail Resorts International Wholesale Reservations.
• Communicate with travel agents, wholesalers, guests, employees, corporate sales managers and other department and property managers in a positive, productive and efficient manner, including all situations from dealing with wholesale agent questions via e-mail and over the phone.
• Provide assistance to Sales Agents as needed on all aspects of account-related issues, including commissions, payments, and other guest service issues as they arise, working with other internal and external departments as necessary.
• Assist with reporting functions, monitoring sales agent production, process compliance, accuracy and follow through with all daily operations to meet business goals and needs as required.
