Application Production Support - Tier 2 - Multiple Locations - Full-time / Part-time

Primary Responsibilities:


Supporting the production environment which involves solving issues as they appear 

Being proactive with regards to catching problems before they negatively impact production

Highly visible within the business as production systems are the main focus

Troubleshooting as problems may arise that require a thorough analysis to locate and address the root cause

On - call as support calls are handled on a 24 hour basis

Perform complex conceptual analyses and work within multiple teams to accomplish the task
 
 

Required Qualifications:

2+ years SQL Server experience

2+ years writing / debugging SQL code
Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills are a must as working with users and co-workers includes any and all of the following; email, telephone, and instant messaging.

Prior work experience within Web Development - C#/VB.NET experience

ITIL experience and process familiarity
Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
Prior experience with SQL Server 2008 / 2012
