Maintenance Technician

Seeking qualified maintenance technicians to work on a long term assignment in Cheraw, SC. This position includes performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial machines.

Pay: $23/hr

Location: Cheraw, SC

Duration: contract-to-hire. This is a long term assignment.

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: 2nd shift. 3pm-11pm

Description:

• Maintenance technician will be responsible for Troubleshooting all industrial mechanical maintenance within the plant.
• They will also be responsible electrical maintenance as well.
• Electrically they will check voltage and fuses, connect and disconnect wires when changing out motors.
• Candidates will be required to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, read ladder logic, and work with inputs/outputs.
• Will be responsible for understanding blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshooting of mechanical gear boxes, timing belts, motors, timing equipment, photo eyes, sensors, packaging machines, filling equipment, conveyors, boxing machines, chains, and basic fabrication

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial/industrial maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Must be experienced in troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs.

Candidates must have their own tools.
