Summary:
Aerotek is currently looking for a maintenance technician for an automotive manufacturer West of Nashville, TN.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain in proper working order all operations equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, PLC, ABB Robotics, production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and make/schedule adjustments and repairs in a timely manner.
- Ensure spare parts availability for equipment. Maintain inventory records and requisition spare parts so that operations will not be delayed.
- Assist in layout changes by reviewing new plans and preparing machinery prior to and after the move.
- Move or install equipment as required.
- Conduct facility maintenance and repairs for safe operating of equipment and conditions.
- Remain aware of safety requirements, remove hazardous conditions immediately and apply equipment guards and modifications as necessary.
- Actively participate on the Safety Team.
- On-call for equipment repair.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of equipment repair
- Excellent reading, writing and math
- Understand and follow directions
- Good computer skills
- Strong mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulic, pneumatic abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with diverse groups

PAY:
- $20-25 an hour.
