JOB SUMMARY

Etcher’s are responsible to dipping the castings in a chemical sequences to clean the metal.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expected to assist in the implementation of Alcoa/Howmet’s EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
• Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Report all job related illness and injuries. (Per employee handbook).
• Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EH&S training.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions

• Chemically etches castings according to specific instructions.
• Water hones and oven dries casting when called for.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Must meet Export Control Regulations (ITAR)
• Must be able to (after proper training) pass a Level I  certification test after 220 hours.
• Must pass a visual exam

 

EDUCATION

 

• High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with chemicals a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED

 

• Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds
• Hot manufacturing work environment

 

Hours: 2:00pm - 11:00pm

Pay Rate: 13.00 per hour

Location: 9 Roy street Dover, NJ 07801
