Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Unsecured Credit Risk t eam manages the credit quality of the unsecured CCS portfolios, partnering with Consumer Financial Services, Education Financial Services and Retail Services from origination through account management and authorizations to collections.

The CCS Unsecured Acquisitions Risk - Loss Estimation and Line Optimization Team is looking for an experienced Credit Risk Analytics Manager 2 to lead the loss estimation function in support of both the credit cards and personal lines and loans acquisition risk management. The leader is expected to have a deep understanding of unsecured consumer lending businesses as well as extensive knowledge of financial analysis, effective risk management practices, and analytical methodologies to derive loss components. The candidate must have proven excellence in communication and partnership in a highly matrixed organization.

Specifically this role will:

Lead a highly skilled and motivated analytical team to derive the loss estimation for Cards and Personal Lines and Loans acquisition risk estimation cohort updates Lead the research work to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness through innovation and development of cutting edge reporting/analytical tools Derive and/or recommend loss estimation curves or assumptions for key strategic initiatives Evaluate/validate the loss and financial metrics across multiple data resources Document the loss estimation methodology and assumptions and present to the senior management team and regulators Proactive project management to prioritize, partner, and communicate across key partners

THE CANDIDATE

Required Qualifications

7+ years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience, or a combination of both 2+ years of management experience, in a risk environment 7+ years of data analysis experience 3+ years of SQL or SAS experience 2+ years of credit risk experience

Desired Qualifications

5+ years of consumer lending experience

Other Desired Qualifications

Previous experience with unsecured lending with a focus on credit cards or personal lines and loans Familiar with SAS, SQL, Cubic Spline Smooth/Fitting Procedure, and Pivot Table to guide junior analysts Advanced degree in statistics, finance, math, engineering or similar quantitative disciplines Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative working environment Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
