HR Coordinator (Entry Level)

AtWork Personnel has an excellent opportunity for a full-time entry-level HR Coordinator with our client in Leesburg, Virginia.  We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, hard-working, energetic, and personable, with the ability to grasp new concepts and processes quickly.  Candidates must have great interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written, on the phone, and in-person. 

As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for entry level human resources tasks including scheduling interviews, screening candidates, completing new hire paperwork, processing reference checks, background checks, and drug screens, and planning employee relations events such as company picnics and holiday gatherings.  You must have excellent administrative skills and be adept at interacting with a diverse workforce. 

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of office experience
• Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Able to learn quickly and take initiative
• Able to work well with others
• HR or hotel/hospitality experience preferred

Education

• High School Diploma Required, some college preferred
• Ideal for recent college graduate looking to begin a career in Human Resources
