Mechanical Engineer

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Shelbyville fab shop who is hiring a Mechanical Engineer. Candidate must have a sense of urgency to project completion.

Responsibilities: The duties for this position include:

• Produce prints with ASME standards
• Design utilizing CAD and/or Solidworks
• Responsible for Bill of Materials and Change Requests

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• electrical troubleshooting/repair of AC and DC systems;
• mechanical troubleshooting and build/repair of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems;
• ability to perform minor plumbing, carpentry and welding repairs;
• ability to organize paperwork and perform recordkeeping functions through databases;
• ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• ability to inventory and order consumables and repair parts.
• Assist with the development of project manuals
