Account representative

This company is a warehouse that stores inventory/parts, and does Just In Time Delivery for a company which is right down the road. They import and export domestic product, and pick orders based on a schedule that goes to this company every 32 minutes. This person will act as the account representative for the company's existing customer base. It is an inside sales position where they are contacting roughly ten companies within the company's network, buying and selling from them. This account rep focuses on automotive parts where they are quoting, placing orders, and processing orders for the automotive parts. This position is very demanding and high pressure, because if an order or shipment is incorrect, it could cost the company thousands of dollars.

This person will also need to schedule the deliveries of the order for the customers and issue invoices. They are constantly communicating with the suppliers and customers which is why communication ih highly important. They will travel to the customer sites roughly twice a week using the company car to check in.
