Technician

A manufacturer of baked goods in Lake City, PA is seeking a full time temp-to-hire Electronics and Instrumentation Technician (E&I Tech).    Pay rate depends upon experience and starts at $18.00 per hour.

Job Description:

The E&I Tech will, program, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments in a manufacturing setting and will other various technician tasks throughout the plant as assigned.  Maple Donuts offers great benefits upon hire including insurance, vacation, 401K with employer matching, paid holidays, and much more.

Position Expectations:

Must understand machine specific procedures.  Troubleshoot and repair emergency line calls in a timely manner.  Repair and replace AC/DC motors and gearboxes.  Rebuild centrifugal and pneumatic pumps.  Repair and replace all typles of conveying equipment.  Troubleshoot compressors.  Basic electrical repairs.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for entire shift and frequently walk.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Schedule Requirements:

Typical start times are 6am for 1st shift, 2:30pm for second shift, 10:30pm for 3rd shift.  Must be able to work 6 days on a consistent basis.  Must have open availability and be willing to work various shifts depending upon production needs.
