POSITION SUMMARY
Aetna Specialty Pharmacy has developed a clinical hub to focus on patient's that require clinical intervention. The clinician's role in the hub will focus on high dollar medications. The clinician's responsibility is to manage patient drug therapy, complete manufacture scripting, schedule drug delivery, review nursing supplies, make outreach to doctor's offices and home health agencies, secure a method of payment for co-pays and report adverse events.
Fundamental Components:
Functions - Confirm and schedule order delivery in Compass - Intake and outreach calls to health care agencies when appropriate. - Complete manufacture scripting in Oracle - Intake and outreach calls to doctor's offices. - Discuss insurance benefits, co-pay and co-pay assistance with patients. Competencies/Skills Required - Advanced verbal communication and customer service skills. - Foundational knowledge of Aetna Strategic Desktop. - Foundational knowledge of Aetna benefits design. - Exceptional quality results in current position. - Advanced knowledge of Compass
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
3 years of hospital experience
2 - 3 years clinical experience required
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Nursing/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is desired
