Position Summary:
Performs repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment under supervision on production lines and facility equipment in the assigned areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment is identified as, but not limited to, conveyors, motors, gear drives, hydraulic / pneumatic units, compressors, boilers, and associated water treatment equipment using testing instruments, hand & proper tools, and precision measuring equipment Works from blueprints, drawings, sketches and layouts Installs functional and structural parts in devices or equipment Dismantles devices to remove defective parts Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment that is facility or production related May assist other mechanics in the troubleshooting and repair of their duties All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required Must meet minimum testing requirements as defined by Nestle Mt. Sterling Intermediate math aptitude and detail orientation Working knowledge of Lock Out - Tag Out system Be able to read English and comprehend what is read Obey Good Manufacturing Practices Intermediate English communication & interpersonal skills Good mechanic and electrical skills, relevant Manufacturing Maintenance experience preferred Ability to follow specification
