Position Purpose:

You will play a vital role in the success of a department and Cargill Kitchen Solutions. As a Cargill Stakeholder, you will develop a deep understanding of production responsibilities and assess and initiate opportunities for improvement. You will create and promote a team-building environment, which promotes customer and stakeholder enthusiasm. Additionally, you are responsible for executing safety initiatives and communicating safety awareness. This position will assure all HACCP's, GMP's, and SOP's are executed as planned. This position will play a vital role in meeting business and departmental goals and milestones. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to focus on training and development to further your career with Cargill Kitchen Solutions.

Principal Accountabilities:

80%: Countable for the production of food safe product in a fast paced manufacturing environment; preparing, packing, and performing quality inspection of further processed egg products. May require the abilty to perform various mathematical functions(add, subtract, multiply, divide) for production process. Training new people to operate mixing equipment.

10%: Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

10%: This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s). This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions. Acquire and maintain knowledge of HACCP/OPRP/PRP (GMP) policies and requirements to complete all monitoring and/or verifications tasks as outlined in the Food Safety Management.

Hours 12pm - 8pm Monday - Friday, Days and hours may vary, weekend/holiday work may be required.

Pay $15.90/ hour 0.50 shift premium for hours worked between 2pm and 6am

Incentive eligible after 6 months of start date

Benefit eligible 1st of month following start date including all medical, holiday, and paid vacation

Required:

Positive Attitude and Problem Solving skills

Be physically able to perform the job duties including extended periods of standing, bending, stooping , shoveling, sweeping, and lifting up to 60lbs. repeatedly.

Preferred:

Availabilty to work outside of normal shift up to including weekend and off shift hours as needed

Ability to effectively communicate with team members

Previous food manufacturing experience

Willingness to advance skill set

Ability to attain a CKS Forklift License

Abillity to trouble shoot equipment and understand process flow

Willingness to train new stakeholders

SAP experience
