MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER
1st and 2nd Shift Openings
Racine County manufacturer has multiple openings for experienced Mechanical Assemblers to join their team on a Temp to Hire basis. This is a stable and growing company that offers competitive wages and benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools.
- Operates overhead cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Weld, grind, and use pneumatic power tools.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Analyze engineering drawings and build to print
- Hitch rig, roll, flip and move large equipment
- Load trucks for shipping
- Effectively communicate with others
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of Mechanical Assembly experience
- Must have strong print reading skills as well as strong math and measurement
- Candidates with skills in automotive, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry are encouraged to apply.
