RealPage is now hiring ambitious customer service agents who want to be a part of our Renter's Insurance division.  

No previous insurance experience necessary, but must be willing to obtain Property and Casualty license. (Company pays for class and exam).

The Insurance Agent (Also known as Customer Care Associate) receives inbound calls from apartment renters who wish to purchase renter’s insurance and answers client calls regarding existing policies or general questions.  Other duties and responsibilities are general administrative in nature.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Current Property and Casualty License preferred
  • If not licensed, must study and obtain license within 30 days of employment, exam fees provided by employer
  • Excellent customer service, phone etiquette skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a call center or administrative role required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute and accurately capture detailed information
  • Ability to adjust priorities, manage change and time wisely in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment
  • Flexible with work hours to meet Call Center hours of operation and workload needs as manager schedules (including availability to work overtime as required)
  • Excellent problem solving skills required
  • Exhibits professional demeanor, is accountable, accurate, customer friendly
  • Computer literate, Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), and company proprietary systems
  • Previous insurance experience desired
  • Able to sit or stand for frequent periods in the same location with some opportunity to move about
