Automation Personnel Services is seeking a full-time Ply-Up Operator (Machine Operator). Positions are available on 2nd (3: 00pm 11: 00pm) and 3rd shift (11: 00pm- 7: 30am). Positions start at $12.00. Experienced candidates may be considered at a higher pay rate. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit resumes for consideration.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position is responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of sheeted prepreg in preparation for the build up process. This position is also responsible for ensuring material is available at all times for the build up line.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and verify press plan is complete and clear.
The timely, efficient and accurate assembly of sheeted prepreg as described in the procedures.
The inspection, identification and removal when necessary of quality problems on the prepreg, which would cause the finished laminate to be defective.
Proper set up and operation of ply-up and support equipment; informing supervisors of problems.
The accurate placement of labels for proper laminate separation.
Maintain complete and accurate records for material usage and product traceability.
Meet quality and productivity standards on a daily basis.
Prepare, identify and insert lot tests into press loads as required.
Participate in weekly preventative maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.
Ability to work within a company registered/compliant to National and International Standards and Requirements, and contribute to those standards and requirements. For example: ISO, EICC, OSHA, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Identify any inaccuracies in inventory and correct with cycle counts.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Forklift license required for this position.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Previous experience with ply-up operations or similar experience.
Previous experience using a PC.
