Automation Personnel Services is seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk. This is a 1st shift position and will start at $12.00. Experienced candidates may be considered at a higher pay rate. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit resumes for consideration.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position is accountable for the accurate and timely recording and processing of all material(s) shipped from the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all daily shipment documentation into the ERP system.
Promptly respond to issues and delays.
Invoice and ship product on a daily basis.
Research shipping issues and resolve them.
Follow-up on all quality issues related to shipments.
Close shipping process each day.
Run all closing reports.
Close gates after last truck leaves.
Daily communication with ISR s and scheduling.
100% Shipping and transactional accuracy including completion of logs/reports.
Identify all improper packaged materials and have them corrected.
Understand Production Traveler in and order verification form.
Packaging materials according to customer requirements and Isola Packaging procedures.
Proper material labeling and identification techniques.
Know and observe all safety rules pertaining to the area.
Safe operation of staple gun stretch wrap, forklift equipment and pallet banding.
General knowledge of MIL Spec part designations.
Verification of product brought to the shipping department.
Receiving incoming materials.
Staging of raw glass and copper.
Perform inventory of raw materials storage and shipping and dock areas.
Warehouse stocking/ pulling.
Verification and logging of product brought to the shipping packaging product.
Preparing and staging product for shipment.
Work with freight carriers to track and schedule shipments.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
Produce product packing slips and labels and verify packing slip contents.
Delivery of product to local customers.
Provide back-up throughout plant as required.
Ability to move heavy packages with proper lifting techniques.
Verify that all Bills of Lading are closed properly.
Troubleshoot problem shipments.
E-Mail invoices when required.
Verify that all shipping documents are filed daily.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Forklift certification is required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Previous experience using a PC is required.
