Carpenter - Full-time / Part-time

A well-established custom construction company in the Champaign-Urbana area is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join their successful team! Responsibilities:

-Participating in a variety of carpentry projects including but not limited to:

-Precise measuring, cutting and sizing

-Installation and repairs on doors, windows and cabinets

 -Exterior and interior frame work

-Installing trim

-Practicing preventative maintenance and up keep

Requirements:

-Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with wood working machinery

-Experienced in installations (including appliances, dry wall, windows and doors)

-Qualified individuals must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

-Valid driver’s license, and own vehicle

 -Personal hand tools

Work schedule will be weekdays 8:00am-5:00pm with some availability on weekends to address emergency situations. Compensation is based on skills and experience with range of $13.00-$15.00/hr to start.
