Staff Accountant

Looking for entry level and experienced Accounting professionals to fill this temp to hire position with a large local client.

Staff Accountants prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedules – analyze revenue, commissions and expenses to ensure that they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis. Staff Accountant can also assist with tax and financial audits.

Staff Accountant Job Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly account reconciliations
• Complete month-end journal entries
• Assisting with quarterly producer commission reports by analyzing and correcting discrepancies
• Assisting with the documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Assist Accounting Manager with financial reporting preparation
• Calculate cost standards for case goods
• Special projects and analyses as required

Staff Accountant Job Requirements include:

We are seeking highly detail-oriented individuals who are organized and able to consistently meet deadlines. You should also be able to work cooperatively with others when necessary.

Additional requirements of the Staff Accountant include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Bilingual highly preferred

Compensation – Staff Accountant

Staff Accountants typically receive compensation in the range of:

• $42,000-$50,000/year
