Valvoline is seeking an Inside Sales Associate I to join our team.

Responsibilities: 

  • A quick learner that can become a Subject Matter Expert in VPS Sales.
  • Deliver world class customer service to customers with issues and inquiries via phone and email in a contact center environment.
  • Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling customer inquiries and sales concerns.
  • Uses proprietary software programs to track calls.
  • Utilizes research skills to troubleshoot customer sales problems.
  • Provides follow up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication abilities are essential.
  • Provides proactive communication to internal and external customers. Promotes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Maintains productive relationship with customer service associates through positive team work.
  • Works with customers to identify training and equipment needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Accomplishes related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Associates Degree
  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills required
  • Problem solving skills
  • Computer savvy; Microsoft Office and Internet usage required
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and in an ever-changing environment along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to approach conflict resolution with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
