About this job

The essential duties are working outdoors in the field routing new fiber glass rods through existing 300 foot fiber glass rods. This person will be attaching the microcircuit to the rod, rodding the conduit and pulling that into 1-2 inch ducts. In addition they will be digging up boxes approximately 6 inches in diameter in the ground and replacing them with 12 in boxes.


In addition candidates will be responsible for removal of excess conduit, fiber glass, site clean up, etc. and restoring site to good and proper condition. The work environment will be all outdoors, working in field in low under ground cable utility boxes.

Qualifications:

1 plus years of experience working outdoors ideally doing light construction.

OSHA trained preferred, some experience with under ground utility or cables in the field is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, able to work outdoors all day and be mechanically inclined.

Must have clean DMV.

Additional Information: There will be OT daily. The job sites are located all over San Diego county so must be able and willing to commute to all locations.
