Job Description:

This Field Service Technician will fly out to customer site and spend a week there and back home on Friday or over the weekend. The other 30% is working in the service office in Wheeling, IL assisting with technical support and hands-on equipment troubleshooting. Some international will be required as well

This Field Service Technician is repairing, troubleshooting and installing packaging equipment. This Field Service Technician will be conducting training with client maintenance staff and technicians / operators. This technician will need a Mechanical / Electrical / Programming background.

This position will require previous experience with:

-Maintenance of packaging machinery
-Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
-Bosch Rexroth and Allen-Bradley Servos
-Diagnosing and repairing equipment using pneumatic and electrical drawings.
-Diagnosing and repairing equipment using PLC and Ladder Logic.
-Conducting in-house and field service training with customers, co-workers, and sales reps.
-Installing equipment at client site
-Testing, calibrating, and verifying equipment performance and accuracy prior to shipping.
-Providing technical phone support for customers, co-workers and sales reps.
-Troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
-Diagnosing, repairing & replacing servo drives, servo motors, PLC and touchscreen units.
