Administrative Assistant - 16000DUN Job Office and Administrative Support Primary Location United States-GA-GAAtlanta Organization Hastings Georgia MENTOR is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide customer service and administrative support to our Atlanta Children and quality Families program . Duties include but are not limited to creating and utilization of spreadsheets, answering telephones, handling correspondence and scheduling meetings, as well as handing technical project based assignments. This position require greeting visitors and routing telephone calls to the appropriate staff, providing data entry support for monthly reports, vendor fee for service, client billing and employee payroll. Must be proficient with using Microsoft Office and Excel. Description Job responsibilities Performs data entry tasks and associated audits for any Client Service Fee changes in a timely manner prior to billing Prepares weekly, semi-monthly and monthly billing for clients and ensures that all tasks are completed for month-end billing. Maintains supporting documentation for all billed invoices; - Researches, escalates and resolves any billing discrepancies. Works with payers to resolve outstanding claim processing issues Works with payers and state offices (as needed) to resolve outstanding denied claim issues. Ensures the resolution of any collections issues for self-pay balances as needed; Assist with the month end process by ensuring that all transactions necessary for the given month are completed timely Greet guest and answer telephones Order and maintain office supplies Assist in the prep, planning, and execution of events Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records. Codes, processes, and inputs computer data for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash receipting, and deposit preparations. Makes deposits, maintains and reconciles petty cash or resident fund accounts. Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Compiles data and prepare a variety of reports. Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies. Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers Utilizes automated AR software application (Avatar) to process financial eligibility, authorization, billing, cash application and denial follow-up transactions Administers manual and automated documentation workflow to support Billing activities Performs data entry tasks and associated audits for all Financial Eligibility and Authorizations in a timely manner Audits all client transfers to confirm that Financial Eligibility and Authorizations are updated and correct Performs data entry tasks and associated audits for any Client Service Fee changes in a timely manner prior to billing Prepares weekly, semi-monthly and monthly billing for clients and ensures that all tasks are completed for month-end billing.
