  GENERAL SUMMARY:         

 

The primary goals of the Sales Associate is to be an ambassador of The Atrium by providing clients with a complete shopping experience, including enthusiastic, helpful assistance and product knowledge.  In addition, this position will maximize sales potential, team building, client development, and maintenance of impeccable client service and presentation standards set by The Atrium.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:         

 

 

 

Sales Achievements  

 

              Drive and achieve individual objectives and be accountable for sales results.

 

              Carry out promotional initiatives and programs

 

              Handle all facets of sales transactions including operation of POS equipment

 

 

 

Client Relationship Management

 

              Engage with clients to develop long-term relationships, leveraging different clienteling tools in order to foster store loyalty

 

              Responsible for resolving client complaints as quickly as possible, using procedures for complaint resolution escalation as required

 

              Ensure every client contact results in an outstanding personalized shopping experience

 

              Collaborate with other Sales Associates, Supervisors, and Managers to provide the best client experience

 

Product Expertise

 

              Learn and master product knowledge to leverage ] increased sales by educating and assisting clients in making the best choices

 

              Be a strong advisor for your clients assessing their style and tastes matched to product recommendations

 

              Monitor and react to product in-stock positions, ensuring appropriate stock levels at all times

 

              Communicate client and product feedback/issues to the Department Manager

 

              Maintain an awareness and familiarity of competing brands

 

 

 

Store Operations

 

              Perform as a team-player, participate in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the store.

 

              Adhere to The Atrium’s standards for dress and appearance

 

              Follow store policies and procedures

 

              Assist in merchandising and restocking merchandise consistent with department standards

 

              Ensure work area is kept clean, organized, and adherent to visual merchandising standards

 

              Perform other service functions as required

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

              Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals

 

              Ability to work individually with little direct supervision

 

              Ability to drive sales in a client-centered environment

 

              Excellent client service skills and demonstrable experience in dealing with challenging clients

 

              Ability to build relationships, solve problems and influence others

 

              Excellent verbal communication and relational skills

 

              Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities

 

              Able to perform work as shown under Physical Requirements / Work Environment

 

              Must be able to work various shifts including holidays and weekends.

 

              2-5 years of previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality

 

              Able to perform the items shown as Physical Requirements / Work Environment

 

 

 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:     

 

              Ability to withstand prolonged standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing and kneeling without restriction, work indoors, and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke
