Aircraft Electrical Technician - Full-time / Part-time

The Electronics Technician Maintenance is working on the avionics systems of fixed wing military aircraft.

Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequences, in selecting tools, and testing equipment.

This technician receives technical guidance, as required, from a supervisor or higher-level technician, and is reviewed for compliance with technical guidance and accepted practices.

Successful candidates should also possess experience which includes performing pre- and post-modification electrical and avionics system testing and trouble-shooting.

Experience fabrication, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any of a variety of electrical components, and equipment associated with aircraft systems functionality.

Additional tasks are required, and include but not limited to: HAZMAT/HAZWASTE handling, corrosion control inspection/repair, maintenance inspections, aircraft launch and recovery, aircraft servicing, towing, and jacking/shoring of aircraft.
