Aerotek is looking for a GIS/CAD Civil Design Supervisor to go to work for a prominent engineering and construction company in Springfield, VA. The GIS/CAD Design Supervisor will oversee assigning the design of construction projects, track direct report and contractor productivity and manage and develop workflows and processes to meet budget and business requirements
A good GIS/CAD Civil Design Supervisor will possess ALL of the following:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2. A minimum of 7 years construction drafting and/or design experience is required
3.A minimum of 2 years supervisory or managerial experience is required
4. Working knowledge of mapping systems, construction drawings, work management systems, construction process, and drafting software applications such as ArcGIS, Smallworld, AutoCAD or Microstation
