The End to End System Analyst is responsible for much of the day-to-day technical support, updates, change management and troubleshooting of Optum360 applications and 3rd party systems that make up our End to End solutions. The system analyst responds to problems and escalations from our service operations departments regarding the quality and performance of our applications. In addition to solving current problems, system analyst develops strategies for improving technologies to proactively avoid future problems or improve technology related performance. The system analyst will work with other functional teams such as Implementation Services, Support Tier 1 and Tier 2, Development, QE, Product Management, Training, and Subject Matter Experts, to identify problem sources and take corrective actions. At times the analyst will partner with client IT departments to solve ongoing issues that have an impact on our services organization
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot a wide range of issues for both Optum360 implemented solutions as well as 3rd party applications being used by our E2E operation teams
Identify and initiate resolutions to user problems and concerns associated with application (hardware and software)
Partner with functional teams and interact with E2E operation teams as well as vendors to find solutions for application issues and problems
Provide standardization and consistency across our solutions
Uphold enterprise policy and guidelines and recommend new/improved guidelines
Responsible for various configuration documents and tools that are used to manage the solutions (i.e DDS, Admin tools, DMS, Workflow config, User provisioning)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
3+ years healthcare revenue cycle experience (Patient Access focused)
3+ years IT troubleshooting / client support experience
1 year SQL experience (basic queries)
Understands HL7 basics (ADT messages)
Software development - Programming and scripting languages
MS Office (Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledgeable with patient access tools (Insurance verification, Medical necessity check, Patient Estimation, Financial Counseling)
Preferred Qualifications:

MedeAnalytics Patient Access Intelligence experience
IIS log analysis
Knowledge of Citrix or Terminal Services configurations and troubleshooting
Network Topology
Workstation/Desktop Utilities
Reporting Tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in a dynamic environment
Able to self-prioritize tasks
Able to work independently and as part of a large team
Previous experience in a healthcare environment
Previous experience in an Agile environment
