In this role our employee will perform FAST PACED machine operation on 1 of many spot welding machines. I counted 12 areas in which a person could work. All of the positions involve:
- Feeding wire into a machine
- Hitting a button or a brake,
- Stacking the product
- And doing it again.
There is also a paint area in which they could work. In this area they would hang wire hooks and catch it on the other end as it goes through a large industrial painting oven. Could be cross trained on how to do booth and powder coating. The position requires someone to bend over and lift up to 35 lbs. regularly.
Material Handler is another role in which a person could work. Within this role the employee will be responsible for counting and pulling wire product for the machine operators, utilize a pallet jack to take product to paint or shipping. CONSTANTLY MOVING in this role.
They do try to rotate people on different machines. The more areas you are trained in on the more valuable of an employee you are. THERE IS NO "I ONLY WORK IN THIS AREA" ATTITUDES. Everyone must be willing to float to other machines.
Qualifications:
- NO previous experience required
- MUST be able to stand on feet all shift
- MUST be able to lift 50 pounds, will not lift 50 pounds regularly
- MUST be comfortable with working at a fast pace
- Attention to detail
- Great attitude, work with a purpose!
- MUST be willing to work 5-15 hours of OT during their busy season Dec-Mar. OT is typically ran in the morning so they still get off work at 3:30PM
1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM (Monday- Friday)
$11/hour; $1 raise at 30 days!
