Automation Personnel Services, Inc. Has immediate openings for experienced extrusion operators for a carpet manufacturer in Bridgeport, AL. Previous manufacturing experience is required. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to kneel, crouch and bend during entire shift. 12 hour swing shifts are available.

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating spin texturizing machines where materials are used in the production of carpet fibers.
Thread up machine with use of aspirator wrapping the yarn several rotating wheels called godets eventually placing the yarn behind and under the motor roll winder to form a package of yarn
Doff completed yarn packages (two at a time)
Replace the empty chuck with empty tubes to begin winding process onto tube again
After winder has doffed the operator will cut and tie the packages/ bobbins ends using scissors or doff ring, then label the package/bobbins with the appropriate labels
Inspect the package/bobbins for quality problems placing it in the appropriate location for good quality or suspect quality
Monitor lines consistently for breakouts
Maintain housekeeping
