Top Secret/SCI Software Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:
Will be a Software Engineer working with the Image Chain Analysis Team to support a task with the advanced optical system program office. This position covers the duties of a software engineer for image chain modeling and image processing for analysis and development cycles. The successful candidate will assist in the ongoing software development for Image Chain Analysis, as well as supporting software tools for both pre- and post-processing images. He or she will also support image analyses using these tools, which will include interaction with customers regarding data and parameter sets.

Required Skills:

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or Master's degree in similar disciplines with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or PhD degree in similar disciplines and 1 year of related experience.
• Proficiency in programming in C/C++ , Python, and MATLAB in Linux environment.
• Experience developing image processing software.
  · Experience and knowledge in the mathematical principles related to image chain modeling, including: Transfer Function Convolution, FPA device modeling, radiometry, photometry, and sensor motion dynamics.
• Experience in scientific application development and science data processing algorithms.
• Extensive experience of software development for Linux operating systems.
• Ability to learn new software techniques and mathematical algorithms.
• Understanding and application of standard software engineering principles, especially with respect to unit and regression testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
