JOB SUMMARY
Manage the digital marketing campaigns with the goal of driving traffic and efficient ROI for the eCommerce business. Develops strategy, manages, and executes a cohesive digital marketing plan including the existing and emerging digital channels including

:
  • SEM
  • SEO
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Shopping Engines
  • Data-Driven Display Advertising
  • Behavioral Marketing

In addition, this role will continually scan the evolving digital marketing landscape to identify new opportunities that could propel the growth of the business.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partners with cross-functional business teams to develop digital media strategy including SEM, SEO, Affiliate, Remarketing, Shopping Engines and other test channels.
  • Key liaison with brand marketing team in development of integrated marketing plans.
  • Manages eCommerce digital agency relationship to maximize ROI across digital tactics.
  • Manages eCommerce digital marketing budget across tactics to achieve business goals.
  • Generates and develops a dynamic relationship with existing & potential media partners.
  • Establishes & influences digital marketing best practices across the organization.
  • Develops audience & behavioral segmentation strategies for data-driven marketing tactics.
  • Creates an annual learning agenda with test plans and measurement criteria.
  • Evaluates performance attribution model across channels and leads team to deliver against business goals.
  • Continuously provides optimization recommendations for media, creative, segmentation & targeting approach to achieve ROAS targets.
  • Communicates campaign results & recommendations to senior management.
  • Stays abreast of emerging eCommerce marketing opportunities and innovative ideas.
  • Manage staff and develop them for future growth within the department and organization. Coach staff on performance and professional development issues. Motivate staff to achieve efficiency and productivity. Conduct performance appraisals, interviews and discipline/documentation as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Build effective relationships with business partners
  • Effectively communicates with management, associates, peers, and counterparts
  • Recommends digital marketing allocation across marketing tactics and partners with AVP of Digital Marketing for approval
  • Hire/fire decisions
  • Training, development and disciplinary decisions

JOB KNOWLEDGE
Minimum formal education required to perform this job
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or other relevant major

    Minimum job skills required to perform this job
  • Innovative, performance driven and a strong ability to leverage relationships
  • Direct, hands on experience managing direct response eCommerce campaigns including search, affiliate, data-driven display advertising
  • Proven experience participating in cross-functional teams and ability to react to real-time data in an opportunistic environment
  • Ability to foster teamwork and manage a team of digital and search marketing managers
  • Highly analytical and strong knowledge of digital marketing & web analytic platforms such as Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Adobe, Facebook and other marketing analytics platforms
  • Ability to work with and build relationships with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Strong strategic thinking and customer centric approach to digital marketing
  • Superior project management skills with ability to motivate others to succeed on several fronts simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker
  • Advanced proficiency of Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Experience working with 3rd party agencies and vendors

Minimum experience required to perform this job

7-10 years of digital marketing experience (e-commerce and/or retail)

5+ years of management experience
