It's development, QA, and operations working together to expedite development and problem resolution.
 The responsibility of a DevOps Team Member is to ensure the successful deployment of software application modifications as well as provide Release Notes Documentation to the Business and End Users. The DevOps Team Member will also be responsible for Tier 1 Support of the applications providing small break-fix development and/or small PLM (Process Lifecycle Management) type work as well as working closely with the Development and Q&A Testing TeamsPrimary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful delivery/release of new features/projects to the STAGE and PRODUCTION environments
Utilize TFS Release Management Tools to successfully deploy/release code handed off from the Development Team into the STAGE and PRODUCTION Environments
Notify the necessary individuals from the Business when a Deployment has been completed and provide feature documentation for that current release
Support the end product after its' release to STAGE and PRODUCTION environments after the Developer Warranty period of 90 days from Production Release on a Tier 1 level
Ability to smoke test the released features/product after deployment to ensure that the deployment was truly successful
Work closely with the Development and Q&A Testing Team to ensure that the deployment is successful
Ability to write feature documentation and Release Notes that is provided to the Business/Application End Users upon deployment of a new version of the application.
Provide small break-fix development and small PLM type development

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of .NET Framework Development in VB/C#
2+ years of experience with .NET Framework Development in VB/C#
1+ year of experience with SQL Server Databases
 Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience in Scrum or other Agile development methodology
Software Release Documentation skills experience
