AtWork Personnel is now hiring for Install-Repair/Assembly Technician. ! Our client is looking for candidates that are self-motivated, energetic, and ready to be a part of a growing establishment.

Description:
This individual will support new product development by testing products and assisting with the assembly, repair and maintenance of test equipment. Additional responsibilities include equipment and safety training as well as shop facilities management.

Responsibilities:
· Fabricate and assemble new test equipment
· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing test equipment
· Assist with test equipment design
· Contribute ideas to improve accuracy and efficiency of testing
· Conduct tests and document results
o Build and test prototype belt designs
o New product performance and application testing for productions qualifications
o Material property testing
· Maintain and coordinate usage of shop and test areas
· Shop safety and organization
· Provide shop safety training (saws, drill press, belt sander, etc.)
· Provide training on the operation of test equipment
· Courier to and from shipping and assembly

Requirements:
· Self-managed, able to work well and manage assigned priorities without supervision
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Machine design or related trade experience (auto mechanic, electrician, welder, machine maintenance, carpentry, machinist, etc.)
· Must have above average mechanical aptitude
· Computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications)
· Experience with hand tools and power tools
· Willingness to travel- customers site visits, training, installations, etc.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely, and be able to work some outside
· Must have an understanding of safe work practices, and proper handling of tools, electricity, etc.

Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Mechanical, or Engineering Technology
· Mechanical and power transmission experience
· CAD (computer-aided design) experience
