The Hardee’s Restaurant Manager operates the restaurant and manages restaurant employees. Responsible for achieving sales growth through maintaining the highest standard in quality, service, and cleanliness with constant focus on profitability.

Boddie-Noell Enterprises is the largest franchisee of Hardee’s restaurants in the United States, with over 300 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky.

As a Restaurant Manager, you must display excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as the ability to maintain the respect of your crew. You must also be customer-driven and able to make quick and effective decisions under pressure, while delegating tasks appropriately. It is also important that you are committed to providing your crew with thorough training and cross-training to ensure their success.

Specific qualifications for the Restaurant Manager position include:
1 year shift leader or assistant manager experience, preferably in a restaurant environment. Retail management experience will also be considered combined restaurant experience a plus.

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Available to work all shifts and weekends
  • Good references
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Previous quick service experience, a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable and insured transportation

Responsibilities

  • Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow. Control payroll to meet company labor cost standard.
  • Train and develop crew.
  • Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management team and crew.
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted.
  • Conduct crew and management team meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of products and items necessary to operate the restaurant. Control inventory to meet company GAP standard.
  • Maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for all cash. Ensure that cash procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism at all times.
  • Ensure all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to ensure a safe environment for all.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the District Manager and at all times represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. as a professional in every aspect of performance.
