Class C Driver - Full-time / Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver merchandise to customers in Hayward and surrounding Bay Area


Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance


Plan routes and meet delivery schedules


Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts


Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and
procedures


Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions


Collect and verify delivery instructions


Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills Required:

Must have Customer Service skills
Ability to make customers comfortable

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Expected Results:

There is a lot of overtime
must have a valid Class C Driver’s license
Must provide a DMV report with no more than 1 point

Education Requirements:

High School or GED

Travel Involved:

2 week training course - (how to use their equipment), 1 week in Fresno
2nd week on truck training in Bay Area
