Under direct supervision, Responsible for executing commercial sales activities within an assigned territory to assigned accounts, and for the achievement of assigned revenue goals and quotas. Commercial customers typically include larger businesses and institutions. Commercial services sold typically include high-speed data, data solutions, video and music. Develops and closes targeted large commercial accounts. Works with commercial customers to sell the benefits and features of new products, services and programs. Coordinates orders and documentation required for accurate and timely installation and turn-up of sold accounts. Reviews and evaluates market research data applicable to commercial accounts. Creates and maintains an up-to-date commercial client and prospect database. Prepares regular sales activities reports. Serves as a public relations representative and image builder to targeted large commercial accounts and to specific vertical market segments. Carries out sales activities to small to mid-size commercial customers. Responsible for the achievement of assigned revenue goals and quotas. Independently resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur, anticipating and preventing many. Carries out sales cycle independently with regular guidance from sales management. Work is reviewed by management against sales goals. Typically has a minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressively complex related experience.
