As the successful Accounting Specialist, you will work in the corporate location for a large regional distribution company, still privately owned, and based here in Fresno, CA. Company has multiple locations and is continually growing.

As the successful Accounting Specialist, you will work in the corporate location for a large regional distribution company, still privately owned, and based here in Fresno, CA. Company has multiple locations and is continually growing.
The Accounting Assistant will:
- Assist Accounting Manager on projects
- Have knowledge of sales taxes, farmers exemption, tax rates, etc
- GL Accounting Credits/Debits
- partake in A/R and collections responsibilities
- Run statements for Accounting Manager and other departments
- Have knowledge of bankruptcies
- Able to train new accounting employees
- Post checks
- Have proficiency with 10-Key min 9000 KSPH
- Formal Education in accounting or related (Associates or Bachelors) Required!
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Certificate of Accounting or AA in Accounting/Business admin
